CODE OF PRACTISE ON CASE STUDIES

ADD HOME has developed a “Code of Practise” containing the essence of the best practise examples identified and documented with in the case study survey of the project partners. It reflects on the different means of transport and on mobility services and the role they can play in improving the mobility for housing areas in an energy-efficient way.

The Code of Practise bases on the survey for best practice examples by the ADD HOME partnership. The results of this survey itself are presented at the website section ADD HOME Case Studies structured in six topics. Each topic gives an overview on its main content and then presents the best practise examples that have been identified by the ADD HOME partners. The Code of Practise gives an good overview about what is going on in the ADD HOME countries already. It also includes some examples form other countries. The best practise examples served as a blueprint to survey the potential and possibilities of sustainable means of transport such as public transport, bicycling, walking. But also alternative forms of use for cars such as Car Sharing and Car Pooling solutions as well as mobility services such as information or organisational measures have been examined. Moreover, the Code of Practise gives information for housing and property management companies why to deal with mobility. It concludes with the lessons learnt from the best practise survey and ADD HOME’s analysis in general for the demonstration phase that has just begun. Have a look at the complete Code of Practise yourself!
